Activities/Crafts:
Option 1: This activity will help your kids walk in the footsteps of Saul as he loses and then regains his sight. https://www.mymundaneandmiraculouslife.com/activity-for-the-jesus-storybook-bible-the-life-of-paul/
Option 2: Use this craft to explain how knowing Jesus changed everything for Saul…who became Paul. He made trips all over the world to tell people about Jesus. Some of his trips were on boats and sometimes they even sank, but he kept on sharing the good news about Jesus. http://www.havingfunathome.com/2008/11/twice-fun-tuesday-shipwreck-in-bottle.html
Option 3: Create a jail scene using a small box with pipe cleaner, straws, string or popsicle sticks. See the picture below. Explain how Paul was in prison many times because he kept sharing the good news about Jesus.
Discussion Questions:
* Why was Saul hate the people who followed and loved Jesus?
* There are still people today who get very angry when they hear others talk about Jesus. How can we respond to them?
* Can you retell the story of when Saul met Jesus?
* How does meeting Jesus change everything, including the way we see the world?
* Saul’s name was changed to Paul. Instead of hating those who loved Jesus, now he was going to help many other learn about Jesus and teach them how to love and obey Him. What can we learn from Paul about sharing our faith with others?
- What is grace? (You can teach this acronym God’s Riches At Christ’s Expense.)
