2016 in Pictures, Part 1

2016 was quite a year. We hit the ground, running fast and furious, and didn’t slow down until the end of December. Lots of good, a bit of bad, victories, and defeats. A year filled with opportunities to grow and people to love. Millions of moments created in a period of 365 days.

January.

Said goodbye to family and flew to China.

February.

We spent this month learning to be a family.

March.

Rachel came to visit. We did wedding prep and spent time as a family of 8 all together for a short while. And school, always school, plus Easter egg hunts, a trip to the zoo, and more fun in the snow.

April.

Still more school. A mother/daughter weekend college trip to Salem, OR. First prom. Constant wedding prep.

May.

School exams. Field day. Concerts. Out door picnics. Someone turns 7. Family and friends arrive. Wedding excitement. So many friends stepped up to help. A month of busyness filled with love.

About Regina Etter

I’m a daughter of the King, grafted in by grace and trying to walk daily in His truth. I live in Denver with my best friend and hubby where I help others as a Nutritional Cleansing Coach, and we minister together at Mountain States Baptist Church. I’m a homeschooling mom of 4, with two more away at college.

I am not so different from you. There are many things that happen in my life everyday that I have no control over. I can’t determine what will happen, but I can determine how I will think and I how I will act. I choose to take action when I feel like giving up. I choose to make a difference when it doesn’t seem to matter. I choose to love the unlovable. I choose the rough and narrow path, because it strengthens me. I choose to make joy a part of who I am.
